What’s the key to a healthy, happy and balanced lifestyle? Perhaps it’s first telling yourself the truth about what you want and clarifying the circumstances and beliefs that have been holding you back. Then it’s deciding to take action towards what you desire to create, in spite of those circumstances and beliefs.

In my book called, Creating Your Life as a Blessing, there is a chapter,” A Twenty-Four Year Dream Come True.” This is about a dream I had that I put on the back burner for literally 24 years. I recall telling someone about my passion to visit France, an this person insisted I did not really want to go to France. He argued that if I had really wanted to go, I would have gone by then. This discussion clarified for me that although my passion to visit France was still deep inside me, I had allowed a number of circumstances to stop me. At that point I made the decision that within 3 weeks I would have tickets to go there, no matter what. I had no idea how I could get off from work, but I didn’t worry about it. Everything turned out perfectly and I spent a glorious 3 weeks touring France.
Action: Now write down one goal you’ve had for a while, which you’ve put on the back burner, and write down the circumstances that have held you back.
